Preferring to keep her designs clean and pure while directly working with hand tools, fire and her own vision, she creates unique, one of a kind pieces with contrasting and vibrant colors of black, gold and silver. Her pieces often combine leaves, stones, satsuma, clouds and pearls. The finishes of her designs vary from stark black and silver to the matte finishes of white. By forging, roll printing and hydraulic forming, she uses a variety of techniques to create rings, necklaces and earrings.
The talented Ms. Ho is an American fine craft artist. Originally, she pursued academic studies, but found her creativity by apprenticing with a Peruvian goldsmith named Arturo Rodriguez. By studying and experimenting in her home and later enrolling in classes in forging, casting and pewtersmithing, she acquired and developed her talents. She aimlessly floats elements in three-dimensional surroundings by carefully piecing, forging and soldering each design. She currently resides in Hannibal, MO.
