When creating her art, Stacey uses a layering technique. She begins with a canvas stretched on a wood frame and builds up texture and shape using layers of tissue paper. She then uses acrylics atop the tissue to paint her scenes and finishes it with a layer of decoupage. She paints a variety of subjects, from food and drink to plants and animals.
