Functional Stoneware Sculptures by CORY MCCRORY
| Cory McCrory was raised in New England then relocated to the Midwest. She has worked in the art field for more than 25 years, making, assisting, teaching, and learning. Her ceramic pieces are interpretations of her everyday life through the use of color, texture and form. Her inspiration comes from anywhere and everywhere in her day to day life and she delights in finding beauty in the ordinary. Her sculptures are made of hand built stoneware and high temperature wire. Her work is fired 3 times, with the final firing to 2200 degrees. It is food safe and dishwasher safe. Some pieces have small amounts of metal on them making them not microwavable. |
