Using a skill called Embroidery Digitizing, Andrew Johnson, aka the Stitch Maestro, creates these unique and colorful pieces. After designing an image, Andrew transfers the design to his sewing machine, which sews according to how he placed the stitches. Each image is sewn on a high-density cotton twill background painted with acrylic. Andrew also makes his own frames from pieces of reclaimed wood. He feels that the "colorful image coupled with the distressed frames makes for a pleasing juxtaposition."
