Scarlet & Violet has paired up with the lifestyle brand for a two week project
If you’re as much of a fan of floral design as you are of fashion, then you won’t want to miss Anthropologie’s latest project. For two weeks, starting May 17th, the brand has transformed its Kings Road gallery into a traditional florist by partnering up with Scarlet & Violet.
This isn’t, however, the florist’s first foray into fashion. Its founder, Victoria Brotherson, counts brides such as Kate Moss, Sophie Dahl and Lily Allen among her clients, who all fell for the boho, laid-back styling of her whimsical floral designs served up in antique pitchers and retro planters.
“Scarlet & Violet is a natural fit for Anthropologie, we have admired Vic’s amazing style for years and have been asking her to collaborate since we opened in the UK,” says Gisela Garcia Escuela, UK country manager at Anthropologie.
If you want to learn how to recreate floral arrangements fit for a fashionista, then head down to the store on May 21st when customers can benefit from Brotherson’s advice on on how to choose blooms and group them correctly. She will show you how you can make elegant yet effective hand-tied posies that need nothing more than a marmalade pot to look chic.
